Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ramchandra Dahyabhai Narrow Fab Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use SketchWars (the "Service"), a real-time multiplayer drawing and guessing game available via web and mobile apps.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. If you sign in with Google or via email, we receive your email address, display name, and a unique account identifier from Firebase Authentication, our authentication provider.
Gameplay data. Room codes, in-game drawings, guesses, and chat/game messages exchanged during a session. This data exists only in server memory for the duration of the game and is not written to a persistent database — it is discarded when the room ends or the server restarts.
Usage and analytics data. We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized or pseudonymous usage data, such as which screens are viewed, general app performance, and aggregate engagement metrics.
Device and technical data. Standard technical information such as IP address, device type, and operating system, collected automatically by our hosting and analytics infrastructure.

2. How We Use Information

To operate and provide the core functionality of the Service (creating rooms, matching players, real-time drawing and guessing);
To authenticate you and maintain your session;
To monitor, maintain, and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues;
To communicate with you, such as sending sign-in codes by email;
To enforce our Terms of Service and keep the Service safe.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of service providers, who process it on our behalf:

Firebase / Google — authentication and analytics infrastructure;
Email delivery provider — used solely to send sign-in verification codes.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

4. Data Retention

Gameplay data (drawings, guesses, room state) is held only in memory while a game is active and is not retained afterward. Account authentication data (email, display name, UID) is retained by Firebase Authentication for as long as your account exists, and is deleted when you delete your account. Analytics data is retained by Firebase Analytics according to Google's standard retention periods.

5. Your Choices

You may sign out or delete your account at any time from within the app.
You may contact us to request deletion of any account data we hold.

6. Children's Privacy

SketchWars is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS), to protect information in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Our service providers (including Firebase/Google) may process and store data outside your country of residence. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
